This webpage is our review of John Reese's Traffic
Secrets Course. After reading on a Internet Marketing Forum about the success
of John Reese with Internet Marketing, we began searching for information about
his Traffic Secrets Course on the Web, and possibly, to purchase it. We found
his website easily and began reading. His website has lots of tips and juicy ideas
on how to make money on the web, and it will get you drooling. He has placed small
videos that load automatically, and you can actually view parts of the Traffic
Secrets Course.
Adding Google Adsense
We have been trying to
make money on the Internet by Affiliate Marketing, and have had a "little"
success, but our goal is to do better than that, by becoming self sufficient.
When my wife left her full time job last February, 2004 we began building websites
about things that we knew something about. We have 7 websites now, but none
of them are geared toward "selling a product." They are just
informational content sites, but because the topic is in a niche that hasn't been
saturated yet, we get lots of traffic already. We are looking forward to John
Reese Traffic Secrets Course to "increase" our traffic.
We began making money on our websites by converting our daily traffic into cash, by adding Google Adsense to our pages. It was a slow start, but by watching the stats we saw a gradual increase daily which really encouraged us. The more we studied SEO (Search Engine Optimization), we began to tweak our pages to get placed higher in the Search Engines, which of course, worked for our niche.
Ordering

made us very curious, and we probably wouldn't have even bought it if it wasn't
for the 90 day Return Guarantee, and the fact that his $1,000 course can be split
into 3 monthly payments. With my wife not working, this was a "leap of faith"
for us. We went ahead and used PayPal, and ordered the Traffic Secrets Course
(but we were eating macaroni and cheese for supper for the next week.)
We waited and waited for the Course to arrive. Apparently there was a rush of people ordering the Traffic Secrets Course and it was backordered. Mr. Reese responded to this situation with a phone call to all the owners of the course, and a nice two hour tutorial. This is a good example of what type of a person he is, very considerate and committed.
We were reading on forums of how people were complaining about the cost of the Traffic Secrets Course, and that they didn't have the money to invest in such a risky venture, but we could tell that this was going to be a popular item for the "Big Marketing Boys," and we suspected that if we didn't "jump in" we would be left behind, and we didn't want to be left behind. So this is how we actually look at it, as an investment.
Getting the Traffic Secrets Course
With the
weight of the package to be delivered at ten pounds, we were expecting something
along the lines of a "college" type course. We knew that there were
dvd's being shipped, and figured the rest of the weight must be in books. We were
thinking it was going to take us weeks and even months to wade through all the
information. John Reese sent us an e-mail with the UPS tracking number so we knew
when to expect it, which was good.
The day that UPS delivered the course, we were delightfully surprised that the box contained 7 dvd's 6 cdroms, and three books, one of which is a workbook. My wife was going to wait for me to get home from work to open the box, but after waiting two hours, she figured that if it contains books, she might as well start reading them.
Starting the Traffic
Secrets Course
When I got home from work, (Yes, I'm still carrying a full
time job) I was glad to see that the Traffic Secrets Course had arrived, and we
began watching the dvd's immediately. My wife realized that what we were watching,
was exactly what she was reading in the book. So, it turns out that the books
are "written copies" of the dvds. So, it's not like a college course
at all and the workbook is used only to record your new traffic.
That night we watched the first three dvd's, which are about an hour and a half long each. By midnight, our brains were swimming in information that we had never heard of before. But it left us wondering whether or not this would work for us, because of the fact that we are not selling a product on our websites. We continued to watch the dvd's for four nights, straight in a roll.
The first set of dvd's are "videotapes" of a conference that John Reese held. The second set of six cdrom's are "hands-on, step by step" instructions on how to increase your traffic narrated by John Reese himself. He has put a lot of work into this Course. You'll find out how committed he is to helping you make money, and his continual encouragement and determination will inspire you.
Now What?
After we finished the dvd's and cdrom's on the
fourth night, we just sat there and looked at each other. We were both wondering,
"How we can implement this "great information" into our own websites,
since we're not selling a product?" My brain was spinning, and I had a hard
time getting to sleep that night. While I was at work the next day, my wife started
implementing some of the suggestions in the course by adding a couple of the SEO
tips (we had never heard of) from the conference tapes onto one of our websites,
which is about 70 pages.
That night, (which is our fifth night into the
Course), we watched the last cdrom, and then began discussing with each other
a plan. I gave her my ideas, and she responded with her suggestions on what we
should do. With notepad and pen in hand we wrote down our ideas, and since John
Reese gave us plenty of his "personally recommended" websites where
tools are available to make everything run easily, we checked out all of
them too. We knew that the websites he would recommend would be valuable, and
if we would have had to find them on our own, it would have taken us months of
searching the Internet.
The "To Do" List
What we are
doing, is taking the John Reese Traffic Secrets Course, his ideas and suggestions,
and putting them to use. They are not hard to implement, and there are many different
avenues you can choose to take to gain more traffic to your website. What does
John Reese recommend? That you test them all. He has tested all
of them, and they all work.
We are writing down the date and the action we took to improve our websites traffic in a notebook, and when we see the traffic increase in our stats, we'll know what caused the increase. For example:

Of course we were more specific
with our notes, but this will give you a general idea of what we're doing. After
a week, have we seen an increase in our traffic? A little, but once the sites
get spidered again, we are expecting a great improvement in the flow of
traffic. We'll keep you updated, okay? What did we have for supper this week?
Fish sticks. LOL I can't wait till we can say, "We went out to eat to celebrate!"
Common Sense Tips
One thing to remember is if you have more than
one website like we do, don't touch website #1. Common sense tells you
that if it's already number one, why mess with it, right? The next thing to do
is to start where you're at. Implement the things in the Traffic Secrets
Course that you already know about, and check into the things
you don't know about.
You can't get around the fact that it takes
time, so it's going to take some commitment on your part too. But once it "takes
off," you'll find yourself spending more and more of your time with your
family, and other things you would like to do. In fact, a "well deserved"
vacation would seem to be in order.
In Conclusion
We consider
our Traffic Secrets Course as an "investment" and it is an investment
that will keep paying for itself for a long time. It was kind of scary for us
to make the decision to invest in the Course, but in reality you can't lose, (unless
you send the Course back). If you are a company and have a "product to sell,"
this is extremely valuable information for you.
The Course is
not a "Get Rich Quick scheme." It's making money based
on a solid foundation of knowledge received from other successful Marketers
who have implemented these principles, and turned them into successful Internet
money makers for themselves. We're planning on doing the same thing, and
we would highly recommend that you jump on the "band wagon" while
you can, before this niche becomes saturated too.

for Toddlers - I wanted to send some magazines to the grandbaby for something
to do during winter.
