How To Age Gracefully?
Okay, I've got no clue here, so somebody help me out. All my life I think I heard this phrase, "Aging Gracefully," but now that I'm 55, I'm still trying to figure out what the heck they are talking about, because I am NOT aging gracefully.
I can remember being age 45 and looking into a mirror, and not even recognizing myself. It was kind of "all of a sudden" I realized I was starting to get wrinkles. What the heck? (I blame my greying hair on my teenagers though, Ha!)
Anyway, I have no clue how to age gracefully. I asked my mom and sisters when we went to visit them last November, but their answers were vague.
I searched on the Internet, and just found one website, that talks about exercise, eating right, bla bla. But honestly I think it has more to do with attitude.
So what kind of attitude do I have about getting old? A bad attitude! How can I change my attitude? I don't know, I'm still working on that.
I've even thought about getting a facelift etc. but what good would that do? I kind of like the idea I don't have to listen to the "wolf whistles" anymore when I'm out and around town.
Another good thing is they don't "card" me anymore. I think the last time I got "carded" I was 42 yrs old Hahaha.
